Our 2025 fall litter has gone to their forever homes. We could not be happier with the wonderful families that have welcomed these puppies into their home.
Due to overwhelming interest, the reservation list for our Spring/ Summer 2026 litter is now closed.
If you’re interested in a puppy from our upcoming litters (Winter of 2027), we offer pick-of-the-litter on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on when deposits are received to reserve a puppy.
We also have some big news coming to NorthStar Newfoundlands and will be releasing that information at the beginning of the year. Stay tuned.

Our family raises Newfoundland’s in our home and on the lake in northern Minnesota. NorthStar Newfoundland’s goal is to provide you a puppy from excellent health tested parents for your family. These big dogs are gentle giants. Newfoundland’s are an amazing dog breed that are excellent companions in the home. They are known as the “Nanny” dog. They excel as a family pet, therapy dog, service dog, or rescue dog.
NorthStar Newfoundland’s breeds for excellent structure and temperament. We utilize genetic and radiologic testing on AKC registered parents as recommended by the AKC. Our current breeding pare are both all black and they can have both black and brown puppies.
You are welcome to come visit our home upon appointment. Your puppy can be air shipped throughout the USA but we prefer personal delivery for your puppy’s safety and your convenience. We deliver in Minnesota, North Dakota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan and South Dakota. If you are not in these states please talk with us we maybe able to personally deliver your puppy anyway.
